SOLD - This is the second Gibson Goldrush mandolin I've owned and I like this one just as much as the last one. The tone is similar - great clarity in the trebles, resonant, good bottom end, good chop, very percussive and plenty loud. There is something about the tone of the Goldrush model that is very special and different. I like 'em! And, then there's the looks - just "WOW". Signed by David Harvey.
Features - Refreshingly stylish design - a nice break from tradition. Colorful fern and Gibson logo inlays. Spruce top. Strikingly flamed maple back, sides and neck. Amber lacquer finish. Fine workmanship. Fully bound in black - great contrast to the light body color. Flat fretboard, gold hardware, typical small Gibson frets. Rectangular TKL-style case.
